Abstract
|
|
|
Transitional cell carcinoma of the ovary is extremely rare tomor. The category of transitional cell carcinoma has been proposed for those tumors in which definite urothelial features are present but no benign, metaplastic, and/or proliferating brenner tumor. Most of recent studies revealed that transitional cell carcinoma has a good response to chemotherapy and long-term survival.
We experienced a case of primary transitional cell carcinoma of the ovary and report this case with a brief review of the literatures.
